Annual Friendraiser Reception & Dinner

What

Join TBI for a night of friendship, learning, and exchange with TBI's 2003 Summer Environmental Exchange Participants from Russia, Canada, the United States, Lithuania, Byelorussia, and Tajikistan along with world-renowned photographer Boyd Norton.

Boyd Norton, author of over 13 books (including the book Baikal: Sacred Sea of Siberia with Peter Matthiessen) and photo credits in most major magazines, will present a slide show and discussion of environmental issues at Lake Baikal in Russia, as well of his other adventurous travels around the world.

The event will also announce the 2nd annual Dwight C. Steele Memorial Award winner that will honor an individual who has shown exceptional leadership and stewardship in the protection of Lake Tahoe.

When

A free wine and cheese reception will be held between 5:00-7:00PM and will introduce the 2003 TBI Participants. Dinner and keynote address from Boyd Norton will be held between 7:00-9:30PM.

Costs

The reception is free to thank all those who have helped TBI throughout the year. Attendance to the dinner and keynote address is $100 per person ($75 of this is tax-deductible) with all proceeds going to development of TBI programs.
