Alumni Award Criteria & Nomination Process

The SEE Program Alumni Award will be an honorary award given to two people each year – one North American / International, and one Russian alum. This award will be issued yearly at the Annual Event at Heavenly, and we will be working closely with the Russian staff to encourage a similar event at Lake Baikal. Nominations for each year’s award will be made by TBI staff, Board members, and all SEE Program alumni – to include alumni bio and reason for nomination based on four criteria indentified by TBI staff and the Alumni Committee members. (See Nomination Form for details.) The full list of nominees will be posted to the TBI website in order to publicize the accomplishments of our alumni, and once listed will be voted on accordingly by TBI staff, Board members, and Alumni committee members only to select the five finalists for that year’s award. This group of finalists will then be voted on by the original, larger group of TBI staff, Board members, and SEE Program alumni, to select the award recipient.

The nomination process is open to ALL alumni, current and former staff, Board of Directors and Advisory Board members. Anyone wishing to nominate an individual is asked to submit the SEE Program Alumni Award – Nomination Form.

(The nomination process for the 2010 award closed on March 15th, 2010.)
